Analytical Mind. The scholar has Advantage on Ability checks made to decipher ancient texts, analyze magical runes, or recall historical details regarding ancient dragonic dynasties and arcane ley lines.
Multiattack. The scholar makes two Quarterstaff attacks or replaces one attack with his Lightning Breath (if available).
Quarterstaff. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d6) bludgeoning damage, or 4 (1d8) bludgeoning damage if used with two hands.
Lightning Breath (2/Long Rest). The scholar exhales crackling lightning energy in a 15-foot Cone or a 30-foot Line that is 5 feet wide (scholar's choice). Each creature in that area must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, taking 9 (2d10) lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Draconic Flight (1/Long Rest). As a Bonus Action, the scholar temporarily sprouts spectral wings made of crackling, electric blue lightning arcs on his back. The wings last for 10 minutes, until he retracts them (no action required), or until he has the Incapacitated condition. While active, he has a Fly Speed of 30 feet.
