Bounce. The Ballblin moves by bouncing rather than walking. It can move through the space of other creatures, but can’t willingly end its movement there.
Strategy. The Ballblin makes either a Slam attack or a Cannonball! attack (if conditions are met).
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d4 + 1) bludgeoning damage.
Cannonball! Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 45 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (3d8 + 6) bludgeoning damage plus 12 (2d8 + 4) force damage.
The Ballblin chooses one Long Goblin within 10 feet of itself. The Long Goblin must use its reaction to grab and hurl the Ballblin at a point or creature it can see within its throwing range. If the creature is hit, it takes the damage and must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save the creature is knocked prone.
Description
Ballblins are unusual goblinoids with round, orange bodies that resemble living balls and move by bouncing across the ground, using their dense bodies to absorb impacts that would injure other goblins. They are weak on their own, but have developed a close symbiotic relationship with Long Goblins, allowing them to be hurled as living projectiles. They are unusually intelligent for goblinoids, relying on positioning and teamwork to make themselves useful to their larger companions.
