Traits

Alpha. The Blinded are creatures that hunt in groups of 4-6 for their prey. The Alpha rarely directly engages, instead opting to command from afar.

FogThe Blinded produce a dense fog from gills that protrude from their neck. The fog will advance 15 ft. per round to a radius of 60ft. The fog remains active for three hours. Any creature that resides within the fog has a disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception or Investigation) checks and has their vision reduced to 10 ft.

Unnatural HunterThe Blinded have advantage on all Wisdom (Perception) checks and Strength checks whilst residing within Fog.

Actions

MultiattackThe Blinded can make three melee attacks against a target, or one melee attack and disengage.

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 19 (3d8+5) necrotic damage, and the target is grappled. Only one creature can be grappled at a time.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or take 7 (2d6) necrotic damage.

DisengageThe Blinded can disengage from a creature and disappear into its fog.

Legendary Actions

The Blinded can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time, and only at the end of another creature's turn. The Blinded regains all spent legendary actions at the beginning of its turn.

DetectThe Blinded makes a Wisdom (Perception) check.

Psychic Fog. The Blinded can make an attack on all creatures residing with its fog. Enemy creatures within 60ft must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or suffer 1d6 psychic damage.

Life Drain (Cost 2 Actions). One creature grappled by The Blinded takes 24 (3d8) necrotic damage. The Blinded then heals for the same amount and the target's strength is lowered by 1d4. The target creature also seems to age. Effects caused by Life Drain end after a Long Rest.

Description

The Blinded are abominations thought to have been created by a necromancer who has been long forgotten. The pale skin and scars that cover their eyes are the vestiges of nightmares. They reside within temperate climates normally housing within a cave near villages. Striking predominantly at night, The Blinded thirst for any living creature.

Blended Conditions. Created to as experiments, The Blinded were created to resist all of the vulnerabilities that other followers would have normally had.
