Cauterized Blood. Damage that includes fire or radiant damage does not trigger Bloodseed. After taking either damage type, the asura’s Bloodseed trait is suppressed until the start of its next turn.
Warlord’s Brood. Bloodspawn obey the asura’s spoken commands. They share its initiative count and take their turns immediately after it. A newly created bloodspawn cannot take a turn until the next round.
Bloodspawn survive their creator’s death; retain its initiative count for their turns.
Multiattack. The asura makes two War Mace attacks.
War Mace. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) bludgeoning damage plus 3 (1d6) necrotic damage.
Bloodseed — Once per Turn. Immediately after the asura takes damage, its spilled blood creates one bloodspawn in the nearest unoccupied space to where the blood lands. That space must be on a floor or the ground and large enough to accommodate the bloodspawn.
The asura can have no more than three living bloodspawn at a time. Blood that is caught before reaching the ground creates nothing. This trait can trigger from damage that reduces the asura to 0 hit points

Description
A Bloodseed Asura is a towering, muscular fiend with dark crimson skin, blackened veins, and eyes that glow like banked embers. Battered armor covers its scarred body, and it carries an immense war mace stained by countless battles. Its voice is deep and commanding, carrying the confidence of a warlord accustomed to watching enemies break before it.
Its greatest weapon is its own blood. When wounded, the asura spills thick droplets that writhe upon touching the ground, swelling into smaller, unstable copies of their creator. These bloodspawn rise clutching crude weapons formed from their own flesh and immediately join the fighting. An enemy’s successful strike can turn a manageable confrontation into a desperate struggle against growing numbers.
Intelligent, arrogant, and fiercely aggressive, the asura welcomes careless attacks and deliberately provokes opponents into drawing its blood. Its confidence falters when enemies discover how to prevent the spawning: cauterizing its wounds with fire or radiant power, or catching the blood before it reaches the ground.
