Swamp Stride. The boggard warrior ignores difficult terrain when in swamp terrain.
Multiattack. The boggard warrior can use its terrifying croak, then makes two melee attacks.
Club. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 10/30 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4+2) bludgeoning damage.
Tongue. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4+3) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 13) if it is a Medium or smaller creature. Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the boggard warrior can’t use its tongue attack.
Terrifying Croak. The boggard warrior unleashes a terrifying croak. Any non-boggard within 30 feet must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened until the end of its next turn. A creature that succeeds on this saving throw is immune to this boggard warrior’s terrifying croak for 24 hours.
Description
BOGGARD WARRIOR
Boggard warriors exalt in single combat and prefer to fight alone so that no others can contest their kills. They have been known to pursue enemies who flee combat with a single-minded focus that can seem almost supernatural, striding through the thick marsh of a swamp until they can ambush their prey.
