Traits

Invisibility. At the end of its turn, the dragon can choose to become invisible. While invisible, the dragon has a +10 to all stealth checks it makes. The dragon can stay invisible for up to 5 hours. However, when it makes a melee attack or uses one of its breath weapons, the invisibility fades.

Legendary Resistance (3/day). If the dragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Thunderous Impact. When the dragon lands on the ground from flying, it can choose to make a thunderous impact. Each creature within 30 feet must make a DC23 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, a creature takes 17 (5d6) thunder damage.

Innate Spellcasting. The Ancient Platinum Dragon can cast the following spells innately without the need for material components:
Command, Suggestion, Thunder Step (at 5th level)

Actions

Action Name. Enter the description for your action.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +18 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (2d10+10) piercing damage. On a hit, the creature takes an additional 14 (4d6) lightning damage.

Overwhelming Presence. Each creature of the dragon's choice that is within 120 feet of the dragon and aware of it must succeed on a DC 21 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the dragon's Overwhelming Presence for the next 24 hours.

Lightning Breath. The dragon exhales lightning in a 120--foot line that is 10 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 23 Dexterity saving throw, taking 98 (18d10) lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Thunderous Roar. The dragon lets out a thunderous roar in front of it in a  90-foot line that is 15 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 23 Strength saving throw or be pushed to the end of that line. If they impact a wall or large object, the targets take 17 (5d6) bludgeoning damage.

Legendary Actions

The dragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The ancient platinum dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Detect. The dragon makes a Wisdom (Perception) check.
