Corrosive Maw. Non-magical armor worn by targets of the boga dragon's Caustic Bite attack has a chance to be partly dissolved. When hit by Caustic Bite, the target must roll a D20. On a 10 or higher, nothing happens. On a 9 or lower, the target's armor takes a permanent and cumulative -1 penalty to the AC it offers. The armor is destroyed if the penalty reduces its AC to 10.
Multiattack. The boga dragon makes three attacks: one with either its tail swipe or corrosive bite and two with its claws, or the boga dragon makes two stone throw attacks.
Caustic Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (1d10 + 5) piercing damage plus 11 (2d10) acid damage.
Tail Swipe. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (3d10 + 5) bludgeoning damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) slashing damage.
Stone Throw. Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, range 45/90 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d10 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
Description
Boga dragons are creatures of terrifying legend in the areas that they inhabit, dangerous threats to ferocious beasts and seasoned adventurers alike. With their shadowy black scales and draconic maws, boga dragons are often mistaken at first for wingless true dragons, however it will quickly become apparent to any with knowledge of the great beasts that these "dragons" are not anything such. While very intelligent in their own right, boga dragons are simply beasts, incapable of speech or higher understanding, and able to be tamed with great dedication. Adventurers beware their corrosive maw and terrible speed and strength, but know that they bleed like any other monster of the material plane.
Though not venomous creatures themselves, boga dragons have become accustomed to eating poisonous prey and pushing through the venomous defenses of creatures of caves and the underdark. However, despite their lack of venom, a boga dragon's bite should not be underestimated, for its saliva is an acid strong enough to melt even the hardiest non-magical arms and armor.
