Description
The Bamboostalker is a fearsome Arachnid home to the bamboo jungles of Gan Zhao. Standing high above the canopy, it lies in wait for unsuspecting prey to wander underneath them, quickly snatching them up with a tendril-like tongue bringing them to it's mouth. When standing still or moving slowly it's legs are nigh-indistinguishable from regular bamboo trees moving in the wind. When threatened, the stalker uses it's sharpened legs stabbing at whatever threat is on the ground. Since the creature is so tall, it has 6 eyes on it's underside and 2 on top, giving it very good vision on anything on the ground but poor vision on anything above. The bamboostalker can carry humans in their pincers and tendrils, and the spear-like tips of their legs can pierce through humans with ease. These powerfull legs however are also easily it's greatest weakness, if they are cut through or hurt enough, the creature will fall down and be almost defenseless apart from flailing and trying to get back up or snapping it's pincers towards any target in range.
