Description
The weindigo's body is warped to be taller and thinner than what is normal for their race with skin tightly pulled over their bones as if they were stretched by a giant. They are overwhelmed by an insatiable hunger and enjoy the hunt more than anything else as it brings them closer to feeding. While on the hunt they will select a prey and study their daily routine to select the best time to strike and the best voices to lure them away. Once they have their prey in their grasp they will viciously attack and will eat the victim at any cost. Being undead they dont need to eat, drink, or breathe, but are always in search for their next meal.(Stats are for a freshly possessed wendigo.)
Lair and Lair Actions
the wendigo's lair consists of its hunting territory, but it might live in a cave or the dilapidated house of the person it is possessing.
Regional Effects
The region containing a legendary wendigo’s lair is harsher, which creates one or more of the following effects:
- Snow and storms come harder
- People go missing (mostly the same race as the person the wendigo possessed)
- Live stock and produce began to wither and yield less food
If the wendigo dies, these effects fade over the course of 1d4 days.
