Traits

Innate Spellcasting. The hag’s spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 15). She can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At will: detect magic, disguise self

3/day each: dream, hypnotic pattern, sleep (9d8)

1/day each: legend lore, scrying, misty step

Actions

Multiattack. The hag makes two Nightmare Touch attacks.

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) slashing damage.

Nightmare Touch. Melee Spell Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 18 (4d6 + 4) psychic damage. If the target is unconscious, it takes an extra 10 (3d6) psychic damage and is cursed until the hag dies or the curse is removed. The cursed creature’s hit point maximum decreases by 5 (1d10) whenever it finishes a long rest.

Reactions

Dream Eater. When an unconscious creature the hag can see within 30 feet of her regains consciousness, the hag can force the creature to make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. Unless the save succeeds, the creature takes 11 (2d10) psychic damage, and the hag regains hit points equal to the amount of damage taken. If the target is within 30 ft. of one of Auntie Olga's tokens, she can choose to instead reduce the target's max hp by 1d10 each dawn until dead. Auntie Olga collects essence from this effect to cast her Weird Magicks.

Legendary Actions

Enter the description for how legendary actions work for your monster here.

You didn't see anything. She crushes a doll head, and purple mist billows out in a 30ft. sphere, completely obscuring anything within.

Description

Auntie Olga has no intent to kill her victims outright. She benefits much more from slow suffering. She will use her tools to survive or escape if necessary. She has a pet Banderhobb, and will sometimes act more aggressively to those who kill it, and take a few more risks in order to create another one.

She wants to eventually get revenge on Gorgio for stealing a stuffed animal bear from her.

Lair and Lair Actions

Auntie Olga's hut is surrounded by 13 pet Shadows (see custom monster stat block).  Her hut is filled with magical and dangerous items, but she would rather destroy it all then have it looted, and has the following safeguards in place in case anything should go south.

Lair Actions

On initiative count 25, Auntie Olga takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; Auntie Olga can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:

  • 1/day: Feast, children. Auntie Olga calls on her 13 shadows to protect her, or attack a nearby enemy. The shadows come in waves of 7, 3, and 3 for the next few rounds.
  • Auntie taught you that. Auntie Olga dissolves into mud and can move 45 ft through it, popping out at her new location at the start of her turn.

Regional Effects

The region containing Auntie Olga' lair is enchanted, which creates one or more of the following effects:

  • The area is covered in darkness
  • At dawn, the area is lit brightly for a brief flash.

If the Auntie Olga dies, these effects fade over the course of 4d12 days.
