False Appearance. While the barrel remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal barrel.
Wine Mastery. If the barrel is given the appropriate ingredients that is typically used to make wine, it may create wine after a short rest. Rolling a d20 to determine the quality of said wine. With the quality of material used determining if given advantage or disadvantage on the Wine Mastery roll. Good Material: Advantage. Bad Material: Disadvantage. Regular Material: Regular Roll.
1-9: Terrible Wine, tastes bad and actions used with wine have disadvantage.
10-15: Mediocre Wine, tastes bland with no negative or positive benefits.
16-19: Good Wine, most often used by nobility as it's taste is quite nice and actions used with wine have plus 1 in rolls.
20: Amazing Wine, used by the like of royalty as it tastes magical and actions used with wine have advantage in addition to plus 3 in rolls in wine rolls.
Wine Storage. The barrel can carry 40 gallons of wine, which the barrel is filled up with after using Wine Mastery or being manually filled. Does not count toward the barrels weight limit. After the barrel has been filled it has 10 Charges for wine actions, with each wine charge using 4 gallons of wine.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: (2d6 + 1) bludgeoning damage.
Wine Spit. Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 10/30 ft., one creature that attacks with a Ranged Weapon Attack or Ranged Spell attack. Hit: (1d4 + 1) poison damage and becoming blinded. Target must spend an action in order to wipe out wine from eyes. [1 Wine Charge]
Taste Test. An ally creature within the barrels line of sight that has been attacked has wine forcefully shot into their mouth while it's open. If drunk, target creature regains hit points equal to 1d6 + 1 and gains one 1d4 for any roll if barrel contains Good Wine or Amazing Wine. [2 Wine Charge]
Description
An awakened wine barrel is an ordinary wine barrel given sentience and mobility by the awaken spell or similar magic. Most typically used as a form of ill-mannered prank by wizards onto merchants that sold them bad tasting wine. As they then find that no matter what, their wine is of low quality or have wine spat at them whenever they enter their wine storage. In addition finding rats that seem well likened to the finer tastes of wine, far larger than usual.
