Description
The albatross is an ocean-faring bird with incredible vision and the largest wingspan of any natural avian. Albatross are sacred to some sailors who believe them to be the manifestations of the souls of lost sailors. Other sailors believe the albatross are an incarnation of sirens and witches who trick ignorant sailors to their doom. Still others swear to have heard their friends' voices come from a passing albatross.
With the DM’s permission, someone who casts the Find Familiar spell can choose to conjure an albatross which fits nicely in coastal or high seas campaigns.
