Telepathic. Bandlwonka tribes communicate through telepathy. Communication from outsiders can be achieved only by druids.
Bandlwonka Vision. Bandlwonkas possess a unique vision set in addition to normal eyesight. This perception allows them to observe territory markings of opposing tribes.
Mysterious Connections. Bandlwonkas display strange actions of fondness towards Druids and Elves despite their extremely territorial and aggressive behavior. All Bandlwonkas also exhibit unnatural rage around Dwarfs and Tieflings, both races being attacked on sight by the creatures.
Scouting Party. Bandlwonka Deltas are most commonly found outside their tribes territory as scouts. A scouting troop consists of 4 deltas lead by a Bandlwonka Beta.

Description
The Bandlwonka are a species native to the material plane. They inhabit a small region of land near whale tail, appropriately named ‘the bandlwonka zone’. In truth the Bandlwonka roam the entire material plane in groups of about three or four. But in the Bandlwonka zone, they are much more densely populated. In tribes of around 40 individuals. Bandlwonkas can be encountered almost anywhere in the material plane. They only avoid Very populated cities. Bandlwonkas are very territorial, even in the bandlwonka zone, if a tribe member crosses the border of another tribe, that particular bandlwonka is either killed on sight or the cause for a tribe war. Bandlwonkas are very aggressive creatures, only straying away from gargantuan enemies or other bandlwonkas of the same group or tribe. Bandlwonkas in appearance are very similar to nightgaunts. With all black bodies, No face and a Barbed tail. Bandlwonkas average around eight feet tall. They are very nimble and quick, show particular strength in combat and exhibit signs of intelligence.
it has been shown that bandlwonkas have been able to communicate. Their primary way of communication seems to be through a form of telepathy. [Most likely because they bare no face] Although instances of this telepathic communication through beings other than Bandlwonkas have been observed. Multiple individuals have reported being talked to by a bandlwonka. The reports most often account the creature warning them to turn back from their territory. Every single account of communication between a bandlwonka and an observer were recorded when the communicator was a druid. This study has lead many to believe that the Bandlwonkas only communicate with Druid class adventurers. Especially elvs.
Bandlwonkas have been proven to be at least semi-sapient with the discovery of a class system within their so-called ‘society’. Bandlwonkas have a caste system of 7 classes. Make sure to note before continuing that Bandlwonkas do in fact have male and female counterparts. Although the bandlwonka society is mostly matriarchal and females are not seen often in combat.
The Delta class is the next rank above warrior in the male side of the ranking process. The delta is around 8 feet tall on average and their primary role is to scout outside of their territory while lead by a beta. Each tribe always has eight Deltas.
Lair and Lair Actions
Bandlwonka tribes live in underground 'Hives'. These Hives are only accessible through a passage from the surface in their territory. Each hive structure is identical, consisting of a large room with three seperate hallways. The far left hallway leads to the largest room in the hive, a barracks-resembling room where all males, apart from the Reapers, sleep. The far right corridor stretches to a multitude of rooms, each one housing an arch queen [the amount of rooms is completely dependent on the amount of arch queens]. The central hall leaves to the queen's room, where 3 reapers guard the leader of the tribe. The structural integrity is very primitive as no coatings encase the walls. Delta bandlwonkas are rarely seen in their tribe's hive during the day, but at night the deltas and betas return to sleep.
Lair Actions
On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), the Bandlwonka delta takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; the Bandlwonka delta can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:
- Tactical retreat. The Bandlwonka Delta [along with any other bandlwonka enemy in the attack] retreats to the barracks room. The Delta returns in 1d8 minutes with 1d4 bandlwonka warriors.
- Telepathic emergency call. A Bandlwonka Reaper appears from the central corridor.
