Shapechanger. The mimic can use its action to polymorph into an object or back into its true, amorphous form. Its statistics are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.
Adhesive (Object Form Only). The mimic adheres to anything that touches it. A Gargantuan or smaller creature adhered to the mimic is also grappled by it (escape DC 16). Ability checks made to escape this grapple have disadvantage.
False Appearance (Object Form Only). While the mimic remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from an ordinary object.
Grappler. The mimic has advantage on attack rolls against any creature grappled by it.
Mimic Man Trap. Creatures that couldn't normally occupy the mimics space are able to, and those friendly to the mimic can move over it as if it were normal terrain. If a creature that is occupying the same space as the mimic is hostile to it is subject to it's Adhesive trait and can be hit by the mimics bite attack when it is used.
Mother of the Living Treasures. The mimic cannot move without the aid of it's swarms and their Drag action. Due to the odd nature of the mimic's body, it can only be moved at most 10 ft. per round and even then that's only with the max amount of swarms helping, otherwise it is only 5 ft. Any swarms that are within the mimics space are considered to be in total cover. Any swarms that are adhered to a creature that is swallowed are added back into the voracious mimics body.
Multiattack. The mimic uses it's reel action and then makes 3 attacks, up to two with it's pseudopods as long as it hasn't reached the active limit and one with it's bite.
Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 30 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) bludgeoning damage. If the mimic is in object form, the target is subjected to its Adhesive trait. The mimic can have up to 3 pseudopods active at once, and they remain active until the creature grappled by them breaks free, the mimic lets go, or the creature is swallowed. Active pseudopods cannot be used to attack.
If the mimic takes 30 damage or more on a single turn from a creature that attacked one of it's active pseudpods, the mimic must succeed on a DC 18 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn, on a failure it lets go of the creature that pseudopod was grappling and immediately retracts it, that pseudopod is no longer active.
Reel. The mimic pulls each creature grappled by it 30 ft. towards it and into it's space, holding the creatures on it's body.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 0 ft., all targets in reach. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage plus 4 (1d8) acid damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature and it is grappled it must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity check or be swallowed whole. For information on being swallowed check the Swallow action.
Swallow. The mimic makes one bite attack against a Medium or smaller creature it is grappling, regardless of range. This bite attack can only hit 1 creature. If the attack hits, the target takes the bite's damage, the target is swallowed, and the grapple ends. A swallowed creature is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the mimic, and it takes 10 (3d6) acid damage at the start of each of the mimic's turns. The mimic can only have 4 medium creatures swallowed at a time.
If the mimic takes 30 damage or more on a single turn from a creature inside it, the mimic must succeed on a DC 18 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate all swallowed creatures, which fall prone in a space within 10 feet of the mimic. If the mimic dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse by using 10 feet of movement, exiting prone.
Birth Living Treasures (Recharge 6). This can be done as a bonus action. The mimic spits out 2d4 swarms of treasure mimics in any space within 10 ft. of it, these swarms have the same statistics as a Swarm of Treasure Mimics except for their hit points, which is 10. The mimic has 8 swarms in it's body and can continue to use this ability until it has no more, at which point this ability must recharge before it can be used again. This ability is instantly recharged or the number of swarms is set back to 8 if a swallowed creature dies. No more than 10 swarms can be active at once per Voracious Mimic.
Description
One of the most dangerous mimics you could run into in your travels. It might seem like an easy target due to it's lack of mobility and large, easy to hit, size, but that's until it's swarm of tiny treasure mimics finds you and brings you to their horrific mother. If that happens she will devour you whole. I've even seen one of her pseudopods form it's own mouth and gulp down a poor adventure that bite off more than he could chew.
And that's assuming you don't immediately fall prey to it's mimicry of anything and everything an adventurer would want to get on top of or jump into. I've even seen one that took the shape of a huge elegant bath, the "water" of which felt like it was from a hot spring. The poor adventurer who decided he wanted a nice relaxing hot spring bath was already in it's hungry maw once it revealed itself. I don't believe he even knew what happened, poor soul.
