Traits

False Life: When the target's HP is dropped to zero, unless knocked down, the bloodmoss servant will still stand as if alive, but no longer be reactive.

Actions

Multiattack. The bloodmoss servant makes two slam attacks.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage.

Paralyzing Spores The bloodmoss servant releases spores out in a 15ft radius. The user must make a DC 12 Con save or be paralyzed for 1d4 rounds. Upon making or failing the save, the target cannot be targeted for another spore attack from this creature for 24 hours.

Reactions

Spore Burst: Upon being hit with a fire attack, paralyzing spores can be used as a reaction.

Description

This creature was once man, but after the ingestion of the bloodmoss, the parasitic fungus has taken control of the creature.

The creature has no intelligence. It is only aware of it's close surroundings, swinging violently in any form of life. It does not feel pain, nor does it react to it. Upon 'death', the fungus remains alive unless burned, continuously releasing spores until the body completely degrades.
