Traits

Evasion. If the creature is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, the assassin instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails.

Paragon Fortitude. The creature has multiple pools of hit points, each of which is tracked separately. All damage and healing must be completely applied to only one pool. When a pool is reduced to zero, all ongoing conditions and effects affecting the creature end. Once a pool is reduced to zero, that pool cannot receive any healing until after a long rest. If all hit point pools are reduced to zero, the creature is killed. The Bandit Lord's health is split into three pools of 50 each.

Paragon Fury. The creature may take one additional turn in each round of combat for each of its hit point pools that have been reduced to zero. The creature determines initiative normally for its first turn, though it gains advantage on the roll. Each subsequent turn the creature gains is inserted immediately after any one PC’s turn in the initiative order.

Cloak of Displacement. The Bandit Lord imposes disadvantage on all attacks made to hit it. This effect is disabled until the Lord's next turn when he is hit.

Actions

Multiattack. The Lord makes three Katana attacks or two Mithril Longbow attacks.

Katana. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (1d12 + 5) slashing damage

Mithril Longbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, range 150/600 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (1d10 + 5) piercing damage.

Bite the Bullet. As an action even when incapacitated from anything other than hitting 0 hitpoints, end one condition afflicting this creature and take 10 damage. This damage cannot be reduced in any way.

Reactions

Side Step. When an attack misses against this creature, it can as a legendary reaction move up to half its speed without triggering opportunity attacks.

Deflect. When a ranged weapon attack misses against this creature by 5 or more, it can as a legendary reaction deflect the attack back at the attacker. This creature makes a ranged weapon attack adding their proficiency bonus to the attack roll against the attacker, dealing the weapon’s damage as normal on a hit.

Redirect. When a melee weapon attack misses against this creature by 5 or more, it can as a legendary reaction force the attacking creature to move a number of feet equal to this creature’s Dexterity modifier x 5 in any direction to an open space. If the attacking creature ends this movement with another creature within their melee weapon’s range, this creature can force the attacking creature to make a weapon attack with disadvantage against that creature.

Uncanny Dodge. When an attacker you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to halve the attack’s damage to you.

Legendary Actions

Steel Typhoon. Immediately after the Bandit Lord loses a paragon hit point pool, He can take a reaction to begin dashing around with his Katana. He forces any number of creatures he chooses within 25 ft. of him to an empty space on ground within range. Affected creatures must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 4d6 slashing damage.

Description

This lithe man cuts an intimidating figure. His cloak billows in the wind and hides where his body lies while his steel armour blocks any strikes that find his form. His Katana cuts down those who defy him and his Mithril bow pins any who flee his gaze.
