Writhing Tendrils. The mass of roots and tendrils surrounding the Needlefruit makes all ground in a 10 foot radius around the Needlefruit difficult terrain.
Lethargic. Due to the anatomical build of the Needlefruit, dealing enough cold damage to it will cause the gas chambers below its needlesack to become frozen. If 25 or more points of cold damage are done to the Needlefruit, the Multiattack will only be able to shoot three Needle attacks, and the Needle Spray will only recharge on a 6.
Multiattack. The Needlefruit makes three Tendril Slam attacks or six Needle attacks.
Tendril Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 20 ft., 1 target. Hit: 12 (3d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage. The creature is grappled (escape DC 15) and restrained. The Needlefruit can have up to four creatures grappled at once.
Needle. RangedWeapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 30/60 ft., 1 target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage.
Needle Spray (Recharge 5-6). The Needlefruit launches a volley of needles in the air. Each creature within 15 feet of the Needlefruit must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 15 (6d4 + 3) piercing damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one.
