Beast Legatus

Astral Origin. The Beast Legatus, as all chimera, are invisible to those not from the Astral Plane or who have an exterior means of seeing them.

Summon. When the Beast Legatus is summoned by it's wielder, it starts with 100 Dark Matter [DM] points, which are burned through combat.

Keen Hearing and Smell. The Beast Legatus has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.

Dig. The Beast Legatus can dig in areas of high debris to search for items.

Ride. The wielder of the Beast Legatus can ride atop the Beast Legatus, adding its movement speed to their own.

Bind [5 DM points]. The Beast Legatus, using the chain of its wielder can bind any creature[s] so long as it uses the chain binding it to its wielder and crosses over said chain.

Finish Off. When the Beast Legatus or wielder brings a Chimera to 1 Hit Point, the option to Finish Off the Chimera is given through the IRIS System. After doing so, the Wielder must make a DC 20 constitution save, on a successful save, the Wielder is brought to full hit points and the Beast Legatus is brought to 100 Dark Matter points.

Slash [5 DM points]. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Perfect Summon: When summed as a reaction against a missed attack, the wielder makes a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw. The wielder take no damage and the Beast Legatus makes a free Slash attack [not requiring any DM points]. On a failed save, the wielder takes the damage of the attack and the Beast Legatus comes out at the end of the turn.

Landing Strategy. When the wielder fails a Dexterity or Strength Saving throw to have the Beast Legatus to catch them from the fall. To do this, the wielder remakes the Dexterity or Strength saving throw with a DC of 15. On a successful save, the wielder only spends 5 movement to stand instead of half, and half movement on a hailed save.
