Angelic Weapons. The Valkyrie weapon attacks are magical. When the Valkyrie hits with any weapon, the weapon deals an extra 5d8 radiant damage.

Divine Awareness. The Valkyrie knows if it hears a lie.

Innate Spellcasting. The Valkyrie's spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 20). The Valkyrie can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At will: detect evil and good, invisibility (self only)

3/day each: blade barrier, dispel evil and good, call lightning, raise dead, find steed (in the form of an eight legged horse)

1/day each: commune, conjure animals (in the form of eight wolves), death ward

Magic Resistance. The Valkyrie has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Actions

Multiattack. The Valkyrie makes two melee attacks.

Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d8 + 7) slashing damage plus 22 (5d8) radiant damage.

Spear of Lightning. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10ft, thrown (120/360 ft). Hit:  16 (3d6+7) Versatile, 19 (3d8+7). On a thrown attack with this weapon, you can expend a charge to turn the spear into a Lightning Bolt spell, with a 16 spell save DC. As a bonus action, you can use a charge to recall the weapon into your hand, as long as it is on the same plane of existence as you. This weapon has an amount of charges equal to your Spellcasting modifier. If you don't have a spellcasting modifier, it has charges equal to your Charisma Modifier, with a minimum of 1 charge. In the Valkyrie's Hands, it has 7 charges.

Song of Valour (4/Day). The Valkyrie calls to another creature. The target magically gains 15 (3d8 + 3) temporary hit points and is freed from any curse, disease, poison, blindness, or deafness, and gains advantage on attack rolls until the end of the Valkyrie's next turn.

Description

A Valkyrie is an earthly Avatar of a Celestial War God. They serve as the bar maidens in mead halls created for the spirits of heroes. They are warriors, and are typically found on battlefields, to collect the Valorous souls of warriors, fallen in combat. They guide those souls into the afterlife.
