We are one. Any time one of these is killed, all others become aware of the one who killed it, and will pursue them until death.
Marked for death. After dealing a successful hit to it's target, it shall forever be able to track it's target, should the target manage to escape. Should the creature die, others will be able to track the target.
Scream. The creature splays open it's jaws and emits a painful shriek. Those within 20ft must make a DC 14 saving throw, or become too afraid to attack. They can only either stay put, or flee.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) slashing damage.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5ft., 1 target. Hit: 15 (2d8+6) piercing damage.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 10ft., 1 target. Hit: 17(2d10+6) piercing damage.
Egg spines. Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, range 10/30 ft., 1 target. Hit: 9(2d6 + 4) piercing damage. Target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. Success results in regular damage. Failure means an egg-spine successfully implanted an infant Beast of Zanest. Can be removed within 24 hours with a successful Medicine check, or any sort of holy healing magic. If not removed within 24 hours, the target has 2 weeks to get it removed magically, or it will eventually hatch, feasting on their organs and flesh, killing them instantly.
Description
Four legged, larger than a grown bull. Pale skin, nearly a pure white, a smooth and extremely tough hide. It's head opens like a flower, a gaping may with dozens of teeth on each of the four sections. Can open all at once or two at a time, either horizontally or vertically. It has no top or bottom, and has 'spines' on either side of it's torso. They are almost rocky in texture, and jagged. These spines can be shot out as projectiles, and regenerate after 24 hours. Within each spine is an embryo, which acts as a parasite after being shot into something. It's tail is long, powerful, and it has full control over it's movements with it. The end has a large blade-like growth, believed to bone. All these creatures are linked together mentally, allowing each one in the world to be aware of each other's predicaments. They obey only one master, the master's identity a mystery. It's feet are circular, with claws going all around it, to help with it's "no top or bottom" build design. Meant to be a tough challenge for high level characters. Blood is black. If cut open, no present organs or bones. Meat is unfit for eating, to even the most vile creatures.
