Charge Slam. If the ursamagna moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claws attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the ursamagna can make another attack with its bite against it as a bonus action.
Keen Sight and Smell. The ursamagna has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight or smell.
Hold Breath. The ursamagna can hold its breath for 90 minutes.
Multiattack. The ursamagna makes three attacks: one with its bite, one with its claws, and one with its tail. When its Soothing Gaze is available, it can use Gaze in place of its bite or tail.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) piercing damage.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) slashing damage.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
Soothing Gaze (Recharge 5–6). The ursamagna's eyes glow in hypnotic patterns, soothing its adversaries. One creature the ursamagna can see within 30 feet of it must make a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed for 1 minute. While charmed, the creature is incapacitated and its speed is 0. A creature charmed in this way can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, end this effect on a success. The effect also ends early if the creature is more than 30 feet away from the ursamagna, if it can no longer see or hear the ursamagna, or if it takes damage. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the ursamagna's Soothing Gaze for 1 hour.
Description
With a name derived from the ancient words for 'great water bear," the ursamagna aqua is a large, intelligent creature, with massive forelegs and a relatively small head. Immense, broad spikes line the back of the ursamagna, ending in a large, shark-like flipper at the point of the ursamagna's tail. The ursamagna has two eyes on each side of its face, iridescent and lacking pupils, which can see beyond the physical realm. Staring into them can induce calming effects as a wave of warmth and a feeling of safety washes over the ursamagna's enemies. A benevolent creature, the ursamagna wont attack unless attacked, and often calms its foes and attempts to avoid bloodshed. Not to be underestimated, the ursamagna is nonetheless a powerful fighter when provoked.
