Uridezu, also known as rat-fiends, man-sized creatures resembling a hairless, leprous rodent walking on two short legs, a long whip-like tail with four long arms.

Like the rat, Uridezu can squeeze their body through spaces they shouldn’t be able to fit, unlike their common counterpart, this is a far more violent process leading to physical damage but allowing the to can travel through the smallest cracks between planes making them useful to the Abyssal Masters—serving powerful fiends such as Balors, Glabrezu, and Succubi carrying out their errands from one plane to another. Their services may also be awarded to favoured allies, or be compelled to service by powerful wizards, desiring praise from their masters following whatever command is given to the best of their ability. On occasion, they are stranded on foreign planes, till they can return they may indenture themselves to a  new master, but it has been known for the rare few to seize the opportunity to become their own master.

With rudimentary intelligence, Uridrezu are capable of carrying out simple commands and are bright enough to change tactics or flee if they are own survival is threatened. This survival instinct has been known for this creature to betray its own master, but for the most part, they are unable to fight their fate.

A rat-fiend’s body is maintained on planes other than the Abyss by its life energies and consuming others. If killed on another plane, a rat-fiend’s body will dissolve into ichor, reforming in the Abyss.
