Keen Hearing and Smell. The war dog has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.
Pack Tactics. The war dog has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the war dog's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.
Pack Master. Provides advantage against fear, charm and startle when acting under Pack Master
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 5) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Grapple. Following a successful Bite attack the War Dog's teeth may remain within the target. If the target fails a DC13 Strength check on the War Dog's next action it will shake its head to 'worry' the target causing an additional 1D6 + Str damage. On a Critical role the attack results in the limb being severed from the torso.
Trained to follow Pack Master commands. Heel - Will stand by the Pack Master waiting for the next command; Attack - racing towards a target to attack it; Find - searching for the item; Retrieve - to bring the item back; Guard - will guard a place or person; Stay - will stay in that place; Stand Down - the war Dog's off mode.
Description
Bred for strength and agility these dogs stand 4ft at the shoulder. These animals are muscled and trained to understand the commands of the Pack Master. They are vicious killers one the battle field working together to bring their targets down. Pulling armoured targets from war horses, rendering limbs from targets and can be trained to search and retrieve specific items. Trained to wear specific war barding for additional armour and to inflict more damage. These animals can incite fear in those who've witnessed the full might of a war dog pack.
