Innate Spellcasting. The blighted dryad's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 16). The blighted dryad can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: thorn whip (3d6).
3/day each: entangle, spike growth
1/day each: barkskin, hold person, blight
Magic Resistance. The dryad has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Speak with Beasts and Plants. The dryad can communicate with beasts and plants as if they shared a language.
Tree Meld. Once on her turn, the dryad can step magically into one tree within her reach. The dryad has total cover while within the tree, and the tree follows her commands as if it were a mount. The tree becomes a dryad's tree blight.
Constrict. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (4d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage, and a Large or smaller target is grappled (escape DC 12). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the blighted dryad can't constrict another target.
Entangling Plants (Recharge 5–6). Grasping roots and vines sprout in a 20-foot radius centered on the blighted dryad, withering away after 1 minute. For the duration, that area is difficult terrain for nonplant/dryad creatures. In addition, each creature of the blighted dryad’s choice in that area when the plants appear and at the beginning of her subsequent turns must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or become restrained. A creature can use its action after taking 9 (2d6 + 2) piercing damage to make a DC 16 Strength check, freeing itself or another entangled creature within reach on a success.
