Traits

Blinding Light. Once per day, the Baron can force all creatures within 60 ft. that can see him to make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw. A creature that fails its save is blinded for 1 minute. Each creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a successes.

Innate Spellcasting. The Baron's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 13). The Baron can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: Dancing Lights, Sacred Flame, Word of Radiance, Charm Person
1/day each: Burning Hands

Actions

Multiattack. When the Baron takes the attack action, he can also choose to cast Word of Radiance before or after making his attack.

Dawnbringer. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (4d6 + 4) slashing damage. While ablaze, it deals an extra 2 (1d4) fire damage plus 2 (1d4) radiant damage.

Reactions

Warding Flash. The Baron can interpose warding light between himself and an attacking enemy. When he is attacked by a creature within 30 feet of him that he can see, he can use his reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll, causing light to flare before the attacker either hits or misses. An attacker that can’t be blinded is immune to this feature.

Description

The Baron of the New Dawn is part of the Summer Court of the fey. His aspects have to do with light. The Baron spends most of his days dueling and partying, ignoring his responsibilities as a ruler.

Like most Summer fey, he is at times jovial and at times hot-headed and wrathful. The Baron easily takes slight at any offence, real or imagined. He will challenge anyone to duel at the drop of a hat.
