Water Shape. When touching water the Vodahkin can transform at will into water, while in this form Vodahkin can don't need to breathe and can move freely within. the body. of water.
Water Stride (only when released). While in your water shape you gain the ability to move from inside one body of water (or other liquid) to inside another, within 500 feet of the other.
Trapped. While you are trapped in your necklace your armour class is equal to your wearers AC + 5, while you are not being worn your AC is only 5. While you are being worn by a creature, all attacks against you are also attacks against the wearer and the same the other way around.
Spellcasting. The Vodahkin is a 1st-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is charisma (spell save DC 15, +5 to hit with spell attacks). The Vodahkin has the following spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): Acid Splash, Shape Water
1st level (1 slot): Charm Person, Create or Destroy Water
Bite (only when released). Melee Weapon Attack: -1 to hit, reach 1 ft., 1 target. Hit: 2 (1d4 - 1) [damage type] damage.
Weak Defence. As you live in a small jar and are very weak you are mostly defenceless. As an action, you can roll to intimidate a creature (other than the person wearing the necklace). When you do this you must roll an Intimidation check against their passive Insite, if you succeed they become frightened of you.
Description
Vodahkin used to be free and live in small clans hidden in the homes of other creatures, preferring damp or wet places. They would play tricks on them and steal from them to survive. When caught the Vodahkin would be punished and usually killed, the only known ones still living today are kept in small necklaces to serve the wearer.
_______________________________________________
Vodahkin are tiny creatures that live in small glass jars held on necklaces. Vodahkin try to be as nice to their owners as possible to hopefully one day be released from their glass cage. As Vodahkin have lived in such a small area with only enough room to sit ankle deep in water their whole lives, they have nearly no strength at all, making it very hard for them to survive if their owner ever releases them out of their necklace into the world. Once a Vodahkin has been released they are released until death (which is usually quite soon) and do not obey any rules and can't be put back into any Vodahkin necklace again.
_______________________________________________
Vodahkin are now quite rare and have been dying out rapidly as they can no longer mate and have just been left to dye ever since the necklaces were first created.
