Magic Resistance. The Baby Phoenix has advantage on saving throws against Spells and other magical effects.
Limited Telepathy. The Baby Phoenix can magically communicate simple ideas, emotions, and images telepathically with any creature within 100 feet of it that can understand a Language, if the Baby Phoenix has an intelligence of at least 3.
Fiery Death and Rebirth. When the Baby Phoenix dies, it explodes. Each creature within 10 feet of it must make a DC 11 Dexterity saving throw, taking 3 (1d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The fire ignites flammable objects in the area that aren't worn or carried.
The explosion destroys the Baby Phoenix's body and leaves behind an egg-shaped cinder that weighs 5 pounds. The cinder is blazing hot, dealing 21 (5d6) fire damage to any creature that touches it, though no more than once per round. The cinder is immune to all damage, and after 1d6 days, it hatches a new Baby Phoenix.
Fire Form. The Baby Phoenix can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing. The Baby Phoenix can enter a hostile creature's space and stop there. The first time it enters a creature's space on a turn, that creature takes 2 (1d4) fire damage. With a touch, the Baby Phoenix can also ignite flammable objects that aren't worn or carried (no action required). If the Baby Phoenix touches a creature, it can choose to deal 1 (1d2) fire damage per turn while it touches it. If the Baby Phoenix is hit with a melee attack from a creature within 5 feet of it, the attacker takes 1 (1d2) fire damage.
Inexperienced Flyby. Opportunity attacks made against the Baby Phoenix when it flies out of an enemy's reach are made with disadvantage.
Illumination. The Baby Phoenix sheds bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet.
Legendary Resistance (1/Week). If the Baby Phoenix fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Beak. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 4 (2d4) fire damage. If the target is a creature or a flammable object, it ignites. Until the creature takes an action action to douse the fire, the target takes 1 (1d2) fire damage at the start of each of its turns.
Fiery Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d6) fire damage.
The Baby Phoenix can take 1 legendary action, choosing from the options below. The Baby Phoenix regains spent legendary actions after a short rest.
Inexperienced Swoop. The Baby Phoenix moves up to half its speed and attacks with its fiery talons.
Frickin' Adorable. The Baby Phoenix can do a cute thing, such as existing. Every creature in a 10 foot radius around the Baby Phoenix must make a DC15 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed for 24 hours, until they have left the presence of the Baby Phoenix for at least 30 minutes, or if they take damage from the Baby Phoenix.
