Childish Bonding. If the Baby Owlbear loses it's parents, it will pack bond with the next group of intelligent creatures it comes across, provided they accept it. In this case, the Baby Owlbear will not leave the group unless they abuse or harm it regularly and will act in a way that is helpful to the group, as well as obeying simple commands. The players do not directly control the Baby Owlbear, however.
Can We Keep It? The Baby Owlbear can become a familiar by way of the find familiar spell. The spell automatically fails if the Baby Owlbear saw the caster or it's allies kill or harm the Baby Owlbear's parents. If the Baby Owlbear becomes a familiar using the find familiar spell, all regular familiar rules apply, overriding the "Childish Bonding" note.
Multiattack. The Baby Owlbear makes two attacks on it's turn.
