Description
(See picture) Behecklings are purposefully ugly, as beholders will destroy beautiful things, and they must win the trust of a beholder. They have grey skin tinted bluish. They have long, wispy white-grey hair, and their eyes are either red or yellow. They only where a loincloth, carrying a few throwing stones in a bag attached to their loincloth and a “spike” - a crude, hard, stone sword with no guard - to attack intruders with. They’re very thin, but more durable than they look.
Lair and Lair Actions
Under shelves of rock and caves in wastelands made by beholders.
Lair Actions
On initiative count of the beheckling, the beheckling takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; the beheckling can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:
- Fire arrows from dispensers in the back of the lair.
- Trigger rocks to fall from spaces in the ceiling of the lair.
Regional Effects
The region containing a beheckling’s lair is rocky and cracked, which creates the following benefits for behecklings.
- Behecklings can pick up bits of the rocky terrain, so they have infinite ammo for their Rock Hurl attack.
- Behecklings know the area around their terrain, gaining +1 on dex. checks around their lair.
