Description

Archbots are small constructs made from metal by skilled clock workers and tinkerers and then enchanted with magic by a wizard or cleric giving them a replication of life. the material to make one of these depends on the metal used but at least 50 pounds of the metal (10 coins = 1 pound). Archbots can vary in shape depending on the creator but most Archbots look similar to bipedal insects without wings.

The high the quality of the metal sacrificed to make an Archbot, the better the quality of the Archbot and the success in creating it. To create an Archbot requires proficiency with tinkerer's or smith's tools, the appropriate amount of material, and the knowledge of how to make one. To learn the knowledge, one can either learn from someone who already knows how make one or can acquire the knowledge from an item called an Archbot Manual.

When attempting to make the physical structure of the Archbot, the crafter must succeed on a tinkerer's or smith's tools check DC 20 taking at least 20 hours. Then everyday day for the next 30 days one must cast a Replicate Life spell on the construct. This spell is found within the Archbot Manual.
