Genetic Mutation. The arachas is a species prone to mutation causing several varieties to exist. Choose from the following traits:
Common. The arachas does not change.
Armoured. Armour class becomes 20 but poison damage decreases by 1d10.
Venomous. Poison damage increases by 1d10 but armour class becomes 16.
Leaping Strike. If the arachas moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a stab attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the arachas can make one bite attack as a bonus action.
Stab. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d12 + 5) piercing damage.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (1d12 + 5) piercing damage plus 10 (2d10) poison damage.
Venom Spit. Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (4d10) poison damage.
Poison Gas (Recharge 6). The arachas produces poison gas in a 10-foot radius. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature is poisoned. A poisoned creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of its next turn. On a success, the effect ends on the target.
Web Shot. If a creature hits the arachas with a ranged attack within 30 ft, the arachas can use its reaction to shoot web at the creature. The creature must make a DC 13 Strength saving throw. On a failed save the creature is pulled up to 30ft towards the arachas.
