Description

Not much is known about the bella-feram other than the fact that it is a small magical beast that resembles a sheep with antlers. Bella-ferams are much smaller than sheep at about 2 feet tall on average. They also have shorter legs and are much more fluffy. The most common wool color is black whereas white bella-ferams are the equivalent of black sheep. The beast is extrordinarily rare and is said to be seen more often in dreams and visions than in waking life. The few bella-ferams that are known to exist use their innate magical abilites to avoid civilization and any trace of humans or intelligent life. The bella-feram has keen abilites to understand and determine motives and reasons and is said to have super-human intuition. When bella-ferams are seen in nature, they are typically in the presence of a unicorn or near a unicorn's lair. Philosophers have theorized that bella-ferams might have some control over the dreams of others and may use them to communicate.
