Sun Sickness.

While in sunlight, the sprout has disadvantage on ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws. The myconid dies if it spends more than 1 hour in direct sunlight. This effect does not occur if the sprout has cover from sunlight.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack. +4 to hit.  Inflicts (1d4) piercing damage plus (2d6)  poison damage. 

Infest. Twice per long rest. The sprout leaps up to 15 feet and attaches itself to the target, attempting to burrow into its body using its teeth and claws. On a failed save (DC15 CON) the target takes (2d10) piercing and (2d10) poison damage, taking half on a success. If the creature is reduced to 0hp by this attack the sprout burrows into it, reanimating it as a Zombie with the sprout inside. The sprout has full cover while inside a creature.

Description

The Unifa Sprout is a softly glowing myconid imbibed with Unifa spores. It has sharp wooden protrusions in its mouth, hands, and on the top of its head which it can use to bite and claw its way into ununified creatures.
