Amphibious. The aboleth can breathe air and water.
Shock Susceptibility. If the abolover takes lightning damage, it suffers several effects until the end of its next turn: its speed is halved, it takes a -2 penalty to AC and Dexterity saving throws, and it can’t use reactions or Multiattack.
Probing Telepathy. If a creature communicates telepathically with the aboleth, the aboleth learns the creature's greatest desires if the aboleth can see the creature.
Multiattack. The aboleth makes two tentacle attacks. It can also use its smooch
Tentacle. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 14) if it a Large or smaller creature. Until the grapple ends, the abolover can’t use this tentacle on another target. The abolover has three tentacles.
Smooch. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 14 (4d6) psychic damage, and the creature must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, roll a d6. On a result of 5 or higher, the creature is magically charmed by the abolover for 1 minute. During this time, the creature cannot take reactions and uses its action to defend the abolover if threatened. Otherwise, the creature is frightened for 1 minute. The creature may repeat this saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
