Description
I never know what to write here so I'll describe the effects of the Berserker's Plague on a player. The Plague is dormant for three days; they present no symptoms, aren't contagious, and generally appear normal.
On the third day (after the third Long Rest after this fight, that is), the player starts actively suffering from Berserker's Plague. They become unable to use magic, gain advantage on Strength checks and melee attack rolls, have all attack rolls against them made at a disadvantage, have disadvantage on all other rolls, and generally have a bad time. This doesn't actually increase their stats or Barbarian levels though. The player cannot speak any language, although they can express simple thoughts through sign language AND understand the languages they would normally know, and their speed is doubled. They also become contagious, in the same way as a normal patient.
Players can learn the specifics of this affliction by passing a DC 15 History or Medicine check.
