Devilish Weapons. Virgil's weapon attacks are magical. When the planetar hits with any weapon, the weapon deals an extra 5d8 radiant damage (included in the attack).

Spellcasting. Virgil's spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 22). Virgil can cast the following spells, requiring no material components.

1st level: Hellish Rebuke, Inflict Wounds

2nd level: Crown of Darkness, Madness 

3rd level: Animate Dead, Bestow Curse

4th level: Blight, Confusion

5th level: Contagion, Dominate Person

Magic Resistance. Virgil has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Virgil fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Aura of Death. Virgil, as well any fiends, undead, or followers within 10 feet of him, gains a bonus to melee weapon damage rolls equal to the Charisma modifier (minimum of +1). A creature can benefit from this feature from only one paladin at a time.

Godly Presence: Virgil can Levitate in midair at will. While he is like this he can only move downward. 

Actions

Multiattack. As a part of an action, Virgil can use Nagatha's bind to target a creature and makes three melee attacks.

Greatsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 23 (4d6 + 9) slashing damage plus 22 (5d8) necrotic damage.

Healing Touch (4/Day). Virgil touches another creature. The target magically regains 30 (6d8 + 3) hit points and is freed from any curse, disease, poison, blindness, or deafness.

Unarmed Strike. +14 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. 14 bludgeoning damage. The target must make a STR saving throw or be pushed 20 feet away. 

Twin Dragons (Recharge/5-6): All creatures in a rectangle 15 feet wide and 80 feet long must make a DEX saving throw DC 21. Take 30d6 fire damage on a failed save and half as much on a successful one.

Nagatha's Bind: Virgil can create a 40 ft barrier around himself as long as he has Nagatha. If Nagatha's health hits 0, he can still use her to bind up to 2 enemies. Target must make a DC 22 STR saving throw or be restrained until the end of Virgil's next turn.
