Antimagic Susceptibility. The spellbook is incapacitated while in the area of an antimagic field. If targeted by dispel magic, it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against the caster's spell save DC or fall unconscious for 1 minute.

False Appearance. While the spellbook is motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal book.

Immutable Form. The spellbook is immune to any effects that would alter its shape, such as Polymorph.

Spellcasting. The spellbook is a 3rd-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 13, +5 to hit with spell attacks). The spellbook has the following wizard spells prepared, and can cast them without any components:
Cantrips (at will): mage hand, fire bolt, prestidigitation
1st level (4 slots): magic missile, thunderwave, mage armor*, color spray
2nd level (2 slots): aganazzar's scorcher
