Pack Tactics. The warrior has advantage on attack rolls against a creature if at least one of the warrior's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

Actions

Multiattack. The Amazon makes two attacks, one with her javelin and one with her axe.

Javelin. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage. Once the javelin is thrown, it needs to be retrieved to be used again.

Description

Amazons are fierce and well trained warrior women from a secretive and hostile isolated society on the island of Themiscyra in the eastern Black Sea. Amazons have long braided black hair, and often wear warpaint on their faces. They are worshippers of Ares, their ancestor, and spend their time hunting and fighting. Amazons often ride horses in combat and are trained to shoot their bows while riding. The Amazons are ruled by a warrior queen, who must be of the royal line and one of the strongest fighters in the tribe. The Amazons abduct men to create children, and always abandon or kill their male offspring. Their daughters are combat tested, and if they succeed, are initiated into the tribe. Daughters that fail the combat testing are banished and abandoned to the wild. When abducting a man, Amazons will ride in formation, surround him, throw a lasso over him, and drag him along the ground behind their horses. Abducted men are kept as prisoners in terrible conditions until they have provided a child, and are then sacrificed to Ares. Amazons that fall in love with a man or leave the tribe are declared traitors, and will be killed if they ever return home. The Amazons, despite having a violent raider culture to survive, are not inherently evil. They incur the hatred of local villages for their pillaging and abductions of young men. The island of Themiscyra is hidden behind a cove and connected to the mainland by a shallow sandbar which can be walked across at the right tide, with a correct path that only the trusted Amazon elder women know. The Amazons do not have ships, and live in mobile yurt tents.
