Berserk. The Flesh (Origami) Golem attacks any living creature it can perceive. It does not differentiate between friend and foe, and will always make an attack if it has the opportunity to do so. If there are multiple targets in range, it will prioritize living targets over undead ones, sentient undead over mindless or controlled undead, and any undead over other constructs.

Aversion to Fire. If the golem takes fire damage, it has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks until the end of its next turn.

Immutable Form. The golem is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.

Lightning Absorption. Whenever the golem is subjected to lightning damage, it takes no damage and instead regains a number of hit points equal to the lightning damage dealt.

Magic Resistance. The golem has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Magic Weapons. The golem's weapon attacks are magical.

Actions

Multiattack. The golem makes four slam attacks.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (2d8 + 10) bludgeoning damage.

Legendary Actions

3 Actions

Lash out. Make an attack against a creature that has ended its movement inside the Origami Golem's melee range.

Enraged Charge (2 actions). Move up to 45ft in a straight line towards a creature it can see that has damaged it with a ranged attack (physical or magical). It will move through other creatures' spaces during this action, including the space of its intended target. Any creature whose space is moved through must make a DC 15 Dexterity save or take 2d8+10 bludgeoning (trample) damage and be knocked prone. A successful save results in no damage, and the affected creature moves five feet in the direction of its choice outside of the line of the Origami Golem's charge.

If there is no valid, unoccupied space available, the saving throw automatically fails. If the only space available is to a lower elevation, the affected creature can choose to move there anyway and take the applicable falling damage instead of the Origami Golem's trample damage.

Description

Sometimes, a clever adventurer will figure out a creative solution to an obstacle that involves temporarily gathering the rest of the party into a Bag of Holding, Portable Hole, Handy Haversack, or other extra-dimensional space. While, technically, it would be possible to have people arrange themselves in such a way as to fit several full-grown humans into a space roughly the size of a warehouse crate, there can also be unforeseen consequences.

The Origami Golem (Flesh), created seemingly at random by stuffing four people into a magical space in which they were never intended to be, is perhaps the most horrific of these consequences. Upon opening the magical container, this ball of folded flesh will painfully emerge (destroying the container in the process).

The creature is large-sized and shares many traits with a flesh golem, except that is has eight arms and eight legs (only half of which are functional; the remaining non-functional limbs either hang limply or drag along the ground), and four heads.

It has the strength and hardiness of four humans, but just enough intelligence to be horrified and enraged at its new mutated form. This golem cannot be controlled by any means, and attacks any living creature it can see without regard for its safety.

It's proficiency bonus is the average of the original four creatures it was created from. Due to its unfamiliarity with its new form, the Origami Golem (Flesh) does not add its proficiency bonus to attack rolls or saving throws.
