Tantrum. Whenever the Afflicted child starts its turn with 20 hit points or fewer, roll a d6. On an even number, the Afflicted child throws a tantrum. On each of its turns while having a tantrum, the Afflicted child attacks anything including creatures and objects.
Black Morwen, if within 60 feet of the Afflicted child can try to calm it by speaking firmly and persuasively. The Afflicted child must be able to hear Black Morwen, who must take a bonus action to make a DC 15 Charisma (Persuasion) check. If the check succeeds, the Afflicted child calms down. If it takes damage while still at 20 hit points or fewer, the Afflicted child still has a chance to throw a tantrum.
Aversion of Fire. If the Afflicted child takes fire damage, it has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks until the end of its next turn.
Lightning Absorption. Whenever the Afflicted is subjected to lightning damage, it takes no damage and instead regains a number of hit points equal to the lightning damage dealt.
Magic Resistance. The Afflicted has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Magic Weapons. The Afflicted weapon attacks are magical.
Multiattack. The Afflicted makes two tentacle attacks.
Tentacle. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (1d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
Description
The Afflicted is a grisly assortment of black tentacles and teeth that once could've been called a child. Powerful enchantments protect it bestowed by it's hag mother, deflecting spells and all but the most potent weapons.
