Traits

 Undying Weapon. When it´s hit points drop to 0  the Weapon of Fear draws energy from a dark Pocket Dimension and regains it´s full hit points in 1d6 Rounds. In this intervall it looks dead although it´s black limbs stay materialized. This effect can be nullified for a duration with  an antimagicfield or removed with a wish spell.

Shadow Armor. Has Resistance against Bludgeoning, Piercing and Slashing from nonmagical Attacks, additionally Resistance against Cold Damage and Immunity against Necromancy.

Sunlight Weakness. While in sunlight, the shadow has disadvantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws.

 

Actions

Multiattack. The Weapon of fear makes two melee attacks.

Scratch. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10+ 3) slashing damage. When Scratch hits, the target must make a Wisdom Saving throw against a DC of 12 or be frightend until the end of it´s next turn.

Cry of Fear: Cast Fear (DC 16). Enemies that are frightend from this effect can´t move until the end of their next turn.

 

Reactions

Relentless Pursuit. If a creature moves through the range of the Weapon of Fears blindsight it must make a stealth check against the passive Perception of the Weapon of Fear DC 12. If it fails the Weapon of Fear can use it´s Reaction to move up to it´s speed to the target an make one scratch Attack. 

Description

Dark Drain: A dark Fog surrounds the Weapon of Fear in a 10ft Radius. Creatures that stand in the fog are drained of their life force for 8 necrotic Damage at the start of the Weapon of Fears turn. Creatures that are frightend take double the damage. The damage dealt by this effect heals the Weapon of Fear.
