Keen Smell. The cat has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 piercing damage.
Teleport (Recharge 4-6). The cat magically teleports, along with any equipment it is wearing or carrying, up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space it can see.
Swift Escape (1/Short Rest). As a reaction after being targeted by an attack, the cat can teleport as if using its Teleport action. This teleportation does not initiate recharge. If the cat takes a short or long rest, it regains this ability.
Description
While blink dogs are renowned as faithful companions, the elusive blink cats are known to be independent and generally indifferent. Some have been able to train these creatures, but they are more often kept as house pets than as servants.

Posted Jul 4, 2020Hey! This is not my first homebrew, but it is the first one I have published. I know that I am not the first person to make a homebrew for a blink cat, but I did try to put something of my own spin on it. In particular, I decided to have the blink cat be more agile and mobile than its canine counterpart, at the expense of combat ability, hence why I extended the teleport range to 60 feet while removing the ability to make a claw attack before or after teleporting.
