Shapechanger. The werefish can use its action to polymorph into a fish-humanoid hybrid or into a giant fish, or back into its true form, which is humanoid. Its statistics, other than its size, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies. While in its fish form, the werefish has the ability to breath underwater, but not on land.
Multiattack (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). The werefish makes two attacks, only one of which can be a bite.
Bite (Fish or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) piercing damage. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with werefish lycanthropy.
Trident (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage.
Net (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 5/15 ft., one target. Hit: Target is restrained until it is freed. This attack has no effect on creatures that are formless, or creatures that are huge or larger. A creature can use its action to make a DC 10 Strength check, freeing itself or another creature within its reach on a success. Dealing 5 slashing damage to the net (AC 10) also frees the creature without harming it, ending the effect and destroying the net.
