Description
An ankylocat is an armor-plated cat as big as a house cat with pronounced claws and fangs. Their armor plating often bears bony spikes or nubs.
Thought to be the results of wizardly experimentation on house cats, ankylocats appear to be a cross between a cat and a dinosaur or other formidably armored reptile. They feed on small rodents, birds, lizards, and insects, stalking and pouncing on prey much as normal cats do. Ankylocats do not spook as easily as normal cats, their natural armor giving them a sense of confidence.
With the DM’s permission, a person who casts the find familiar spell can choose to conjure an ankylocat instead of a normal cat.
