Amphibious. The dragon can breathe air and water.
Actions
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) piercing damage.
Breath Weapons (Recharge 5–6). The dragon uses one of the following breath weapons.
Lightning Breath. The dragon exhales lightning in a 40-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, taking 16 (3d10) lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Repulsion Breath. The dragon exhales repulsion energy in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 12 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is pushed 30 feet away from the dragon.
What size are they in comparison to a human?
I like to say wyrmlings are about the size of a big cat, for example a green wyrmling is about the size of a jaguar and a gold one the size of a lion.
I think wyrmlings should have some more unique features that adults lose over time. Like they're vulnerable and have magic camouflage, or they haven't learned to polymorph yet, or something like that.
cutie pattotie
Roughly the same size.
I read somewhere that a green wyrmling is close too 6 feet long, so the bronze wyrmiling is probably close to 8 feet long.
So cute. I can imagine one of these that can’t control its powers and sneezes lightning breath
I think it's cuteeeeeee
Eh, a lion counts as "large", while the wyrmling is only "medium"
ya
about the size of a wolf, there both medium
question, how do I debuff or edit the dragon so I can do a third level campaign.
Its a CR 2 I think you'll be fine, just don't play too aggressively or roll like a god.
Hey uh, just a reminder:
This thing does an average of 16 lightning damage on a hit. A commoner has 4 hp and an average Dex save of 10-11. This thing could very, very easily kill the average person with just a sneeze or particularly powerful exhale.
Its bite weapon has a +5 to hit, making its score average around 15-16. A commoner has 10 AC. Its minimum will kill a commoner.
Even the nicest and most newborn of dragons are so strong that they could accidentally rip you in half or char you to a crisp, so imagine what they would do to the ecosystems they're in when they're intentionally doing them in order to survive.
"Aww, so cute," you say as it playfully bashes into your leg and snaps your femur accidentally.
kind of like playing with a tiger, even if its not trying to kill you, its still very dangerous
Doesnt this one have a claw attack?
Only Dragons that are Young or older can use claws, Wyrmlings don’t have fully developed claws yet.
Thanks!
well am this in my dnd game and it is my frist game so yea fun :)
Im planning on having my level 2-3 players fight this thing and a Silver Dragon Wyrmling they have full reign aside from the level cap would that be a good fight?
