What timeZone?
Would be nice to add that next time to your announcements....Australia is waiting! :)
How long is this Cyber Sale good for?
Until Friday December 3rd?
Or until next Monday December 6th?
Bummer, pre-orders do not go on sale. Majorly disappointed. Purposefully put the book available 1 day after say. Thats a little rude.
I’m so very disappointed that the most expensive package has the smallest discount. The Legendary bundle is 15% off instead of the usual 25%. Every year more books get added and the inherent price will go up with the volume, it would be nice if the discount didn’t also go down. We’ve already missed out on the cumulative discounts from not having the ledgendary bundle.
Was going to preorder the CR book with this, I guess I'm waiting till it goes on sale after release now instead.
Yay ! I was waiting for this :D
Can anyone explain why Just like last time, the discount cant be had when buying through the dnd beyond app? Would have thought they would have adressed that since last year
I know right! was hoping to spend some soon to be expired Google Play credit but now I'm not so sure
Disappointed, I bought the legendary bundle q few years ago and was hoping to pick up the new Critical Role Book with the sale, but it's not on sale as it's a pre-order.
Thats very disappointing and almost seems punishing to the most ardent of supporters of dndbeyond, those who buy all the books always.
In the few years that I've been a supporter of dndbeyond I don't believe I've ever seen a sale exclude pre-orders. Definitely was not a thing under prior leadership, but maybe with Adam Bradford gone, things are changing....
I also was waiting for this sale solely to purchase the Critical Role book. It would be nice to hear an explanation for why they changed their policy on pre-orders. Count me among the disappointed as well.
Regarding the Cyber Monday sale: Do you get a physical copy of the book, or only the online version?
Dnd beyond does not give any physical copies of books. You will get a digital copy only.
Ngl, this sale was kind of a let down. Not terrible, but not great considering this is generally viewed as the biggest sale time of the year.
$19.99 is an awful sale price. These books physically cost less most of the time at a book store or Amazon when not on sale.
Except you don't only buy the books when you buy them on dnd beyond but also the service... (The automated systems etc...)
They are indeed
Yeah, no. Going to definitely disagree with this, it is a good sale price because of other things folks listed below, character sheet, automated services, encounter builders etc. Not to mention DnDBeyond are not WoTC, they just license from them, so they need to make money.
The discount is the same. The distinction is that the Legendary bundle contains more books that aren't discounted which skews the relative discount percentage from all the books that are discounted.
LOVE that they JUST changed it to
"all released books are on sale for $19.99! This offer excludes preorder purchases and Extra Life items."
When I went to buy my stuff this morning it said all Source Books and Adventure paths.
WotC will happily take my $$ ahead of schedule but won't include those books in the sale especially after Strixhaven was delayed and would have previously been included!?
Kind of a crappy move guys but thanks for having a sale on the books so I could buy them all a 2nd time after buying the physical copy.
You guys are really sticking to the "lets not release millions of BS books" 5e mentality that was promised at the start of this system.
Wish this was till at least December 10th. I only get paid biweekly and this ends right before my next pay.
