Everyone has their own dice ritual. Some players need thematic dice to represent their character, others put misbehaving dice in dice jail. Between February 25th and March 6th, we're selling our premium dice sets for $4.99 to support all of your dice needs.
The end of the sale on March 7th will also mark the retirement of two esteemed dice sets, the Archmage's Favor and Mythic. For information on the retirement of these dice sets, check out our FAQ below.
Just as a tree's death gives the undergrowth a chance to grow, the retirement of these dice will bring about the introduction of the Elder Heart Digital Dice Set! These crystallized, green dice are accented with living vines and make a perfect dice set for nature-loving druids, wayfaring rangers, and lighthearted Oath of the Ancients paladins. These new dice are available now on the marketplace!

Can I gift dice at the sale price?
Yes, you can purchase dice sets as a gift! Select "Purchase as a gift" at checkout!
How will the retirement of the Archmage's Favor and Mythic dice sets work?
Users who have purchased the dice by March 7th will be able to keep using them in the toolset. After March 7th, the dice sets will be removed from the marketplace. They may resurface for special events and promotions in the future, but they will not be regularly available on the marketplace once they've been retired.
What is the new Elder Heart Digital Dice Set all about?
Deep at the center of the forest lives a being of crystalized wild magic, offering tokens of chance. You can’t recall the terms of the bargain you struck, but you feel the danger with every roll.
The Elder Heart Digital Dice Set was made from the wild, natural magic of the multiverse, forged into objects of chaotic chance. Inspired by The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, these dice pull from the whimsy and chaos of realms surrounding the Material Plane. The Elder Heart dice feature flowers springing to life on critical hits, soothing music when you roll the dice, and fireflies that carry away the dice after they're rolled.
Perfect for nature-based characters:
- Classes that will love these dice include druids, rangers, Oath of the Ancients paladins, Wild Magic sorcerers, and Archfey warlocks!
- Races that will have an innate connection to these dice include centaurs, elves, faeries, firbolgs, harengons, and satyrs.
The new Elder Heart Digital Dice Set will remain on the marketplace and return to its non-sale price of $5.99 on March 7th.
Thank you DnD Beyond for being so community friendly!
Thank you!
These digital dice sets should be actual dice sets too!
I have to say that the Elder Heart dice is pretty difficult to read in comparison to the other digital dice offered.
Yes!
Is there, or will there be, an option to link a digital dice set to a specific character ?
@he11ra15er oooh I hope so. Def a feature on my wishlist.
Is there a way to see those digital dice in the app and not on the website when rolled?
You want to change your dice in the app? Do that by long pressing (press and hold) on the dice button in your character sheet and it brings up the dice you've unlocked. You can then download and select which dice set you're using there.
Can anyone please tell me what book / chapter the Drow art is from?
Thank you!
I got the Archmage's dice that I'd been wanting for a while!! :)
...and I keep eyeing those Elder Heart dice too! :)
Off topic question, for anyone that knows? That picture used above for the dice, it has a dark elf male holding a dice of Enlightenment on the left, a dark elf in the center, and a human or dwarf on the right with black and white hair.
Does anyone know the source of the image of the dark elf male on the left? Like is it in a D&D book? If so, where? Or somewhere else?? Please let me know if you know!
Thank you!
Hi everyone, I assumed these dice would also roll across the Roll20 page for everyone to see. I've fiddled with the settings but it's still just the same 'ol default ones over there. Any advice?
Yeah, the dice are only for use on DDB and cannot be transferred to other VTT platforms.
I hope so I keep Switching my Dice lol
Dang. Oh well. Thanks for saving me from a lot more frustrating and pointless dinking around on both sites.
Can we get dice to be specific to each character? Rather than 1 set per account at a time? That would be awesome :D
I would agree, if it wasn't for the fact that they wont have the same chance to land on each side because of the vines on the edges
I wish these could be used with avrae discord DND.
Please give us the ability to fine-tune which dice sets are rolled for which classes/abilities. And allow us to assign multiple dice sets to a pool, so every time we roll it will randomly select one to use.
For example, say there were a set of options in the My Dice menu. One could assign a default set. Then you could choose the dice on a class by class basis. And then you could assign it based on specific rolls, such as damage or healing.
For example, I could assign the Archmage and Mythic sets to wizard characters, and it would be 50/50 on which I would get per roll. Then I could assign some frosty sets to cold damage, the healing potions to healing rolls, metal dice to physical damage, etc, and it would override the character set.
Let's say, I were playing a wizard that cast Ice knife. When I roll the spell attack from the page, it picks the Archmage or Mythic set. Then when I go to roll the piercing it chooses one of the metal sets. Then when I go to roll cold damage it rolls an icy set. And if I chose to roll from the side button, it pulls my default set.
Why would I buy digital dice for 6$ when I can get. Real better looking high quality dice for 2$?
