Thanks so much for continuing updating the community in these monthy Q&As. I love how much Dndbeyond cares about what makes them great -- the community!
I'd love to be able to add NPCs in my campaign. Just say'n. Also, need to make down time work by being able to add skills/languages, but you knew that already.
I have to say as a DM since 1979 D&D Beyond falls very short. It's great for making characters and looking up rules and that's where it ends. The DM to player ratio is far in favor of the players, so most of your feedback comes from players. DM's are being ignored and we're the ones who get our players to use D&D Beyond or not. As a DM I can't send messages efficiently to players in real time. There's no way to limit what my players can read. I have to share everything I own or nothing. There's no ability to make a custom DM screen. There's no combat tracker. There's no good way to write notes right in the adventures. These are basic DM features.
Just got to the part about combat tracker and custom DM screen in the works. Good to hear.
Just had feedback from a Facebook convo that some people will inevitably say “that’s great but I haven’t got time to watch”. Any chance of you posting the slide showing each month’s priorities alongside the text in these updates Adam?
i like that you addressed players selecting which sources are usable throughout the site. that will help with Adventurers League with their "PHB +1" policy. I would love to see a big green checkbox next to the characters if they are Adventurers League legal. Maybe thats an opt-in option on the first page of character creation where you also opt-in to Homebrew, encumbrance and other options. It would also be great if a DM could restrict sources, classes, races from a campaign.

Are you integrating the critical role gunslinger?
It definitely would be great to get these in transcript form, or at least bullet points of what is coming up.
