With the launch of My Library, the old Sources page has been rebuilt from the ground up into a personalized home for the books, rules, and content you actually use.
No more scrolling past content you don’t own and guessing which books are shared with you. Now, your content is at truly at your fingertips!
Find Your Content Fast

This new page automatically recognize what content you own or can access through content sharing. At a glance, you can browse:
- Owned & Shared content you can currently use

Your Library, Your Way

Now, your library can reflect how you use D&D Beyond:
- Rule Set: Filter sources by rule set, whether you play using 2024 rules, 2014 rules, or a mix of both.
- Book Type: Narrow results when searching through your adventures or sourcebooks.
- Publisher: View content from all publishers, Official D&D releases, or partnered publishers.
You can also filter your content by title using the search field or organize results by recently viewed to get easy access to the books you've had open.

Posted Dec 31, 2025Would love to have a way to filter by "Unowned" too, would help to know what to buy from the marketplace to fill out the library. Also, identify who is sharing a source with me.

Posted Dec 31, 2025Came here to ask exactly this... "Who is sharing with me?"

Posted Dec 31, 2025"No more scrolling past content you don’t own and guessing which books are shared with you. Now, your content is at truly at your fingertips!"
Really? This sentence is provably false. Like many commenters here, much of the content I have purchased appears as "shared" instead.
I'm insulted that this two-sentence announcement sounds so proud of the improvement when these errors are so glaring. I thought I might have accidentally forgotten to purchase Acquisitions Incorporated, even though it's one of my favorite books. But the 2014 DMG and MM? I KNOW I purchased those, but here I am being given the option of purchasing them again. What if I had a disability? Would you just happily take my money again? At least when I add it to my Shopping Cart a sentence appears telling me I DO, in fact, already own it.
This buyer-beware environment runs exactly counter to the community partnership and hobby stewardship being championed by your very own marketing mouthpieces. If the corporate devils are running the show (and of course they are) at least make the effort to keep the charlatan wizard behind the curtain.
Here. Let me help.
"This is a new feature and there are bound to be some bugs. We have rigorously tested this in house, but the scale of this community is such that we are certain there will be issues we could not discover. If you find that any feature is not working as intended, please report the problem using the link below. Help us work together to get these errors addressed as soon as possible. Thanks for being such a passionate and supportive community."
(As a side note, the above was written by me personally, using my class of '94 high school education with zero input from AI of any kind. I've no background in marketing but somehow I can manage. Why can't you/they?)

Posted Jan 4, 2026I feel the same way. I was really shocked, but if you click on the books, you can view them. I would be happy if the DDB team could take another look at this and make some improvements. But otherwise, I think the library is much better than the old one. :)

Posted Jan 5, 2026This is the single most revenue generating one click query that has been overlooked. You launch that filter, and your dev dollars will be made back instantly in that sprint. Don't you realize we rules nerds are also completionist? Just check how many of our collections are missing a couple books. It's not because we don't want all of the books. It's because we can't figure out which ones we overlooked.

Posted Jan 10, 2026The Sort feature needs to add a "Favourites First" checkbox, that puts your favourited items first, but still displays everything else in the filter.

Posted Jan 22, 2026This layout is really buggy. Most of the items I own don't show in my library. 8 have to go to them in the original way, so there's no value in me even trying to use it.

Posted Feb 2, 2026On January 29th, 2026 a discord message was sent announcing downtime for this morning, February 2nd (that's notice on Thursday, for Monday morning downtime, for which they apologized about the short notice).
I've checked the library, and the issue I complained about seems to be fixed.
So first, thank you for fixing this. Here's the timeline.
December 17th, 2025: New library feature implemented and announced but exhibits misinformation about which products I own, just before a major gifting holiday.
January 29th, 2026: Downtime announced to "Implement age-verification requirements".
February 2nd, 2026: Library bug quietly disappears with no explanation.
Again, I'm glad it's fixed, but I remain skeptical about your company and its policies.

Posted Feb 15, 2026Great improvement.
I suggest adding this feature to the Marketplace to prevent users from accidentally purchasing the same product twice.

Posted Feb 22, 2026I would like for shared content to be able to be used in Maps VTT, right now I have a player sharing for example Wild beyond the Witchlight, but I as a DM for the campaign can not use the tokens? This is so unnecessary, as I reach all the statblocks anyway, so just add the tokens too. :/
