Homebrew Adapted Pterafolk Race Details

These Pterafolks are  more cultivated and civilized unlike theirs ancestors from Chult. Theirs size,strength and even their ability to fly was exchanged for more complex brains so they could make proper tools and weapons beside primitive spears and javelins. Adapted Pterafolks often build their villages near rivers in jungle. Mostly their huts are made from wood and leaves but sometimes even stone buildings are in place. Pterafolks can be commonly seen trading with natives or travelers, they don't have much to offer except information about local area.Some Pterafolks venture beyond their villages or jungles into other lands and cities to lern new things and maybe bring new things and informations back into his village, such as smithing tools or medicine.

Racial traits

Alignment.

Adapted Pterafolk are lawfull in common, laws of their village are beyond everything.

Peck

Adapted pterafolk can use their beak as natural weapon to make unarmed strikes that deal 1d6 + dexterity modifier piercing damage.

Glide

starting at 5 level you can use half of your speed plus addition ten feet to fly, but they can't end their turn in air  they must always end their turn landed.

Languages.

You can speak, read, and write Common and Draconic.

Ability Score Increase

Your dexterity score is increased by 2 and your wisdom score by 1

Age

Adapted Pterafolk reach maturity arqund age 16 and rarely live longer than 70 years.
